The festive season is in full swing at Consult Group, and our offices were recently filled with a wonderful array of colour, sparkle, and questionable Christmas patterns. The reason? Our annual participation in Christmas Jumper Day 2025! It was fantastic to see so many colleagues from the Consult Construct team embrace the occasion, digging out their most festive knitwear to bring some cheer to the workplace.

This well-loved tradition is more than just an excuse to wear a fun jumper; it is an opportunity for our team to come together, share some festive spirit, and, most importantly, raise funds for incredibly worthy causes. This year, we were proud to support two charities doing phenomenal work: Save the Children UK and The Genie's Wish. It was a day that perfectly combined fun, community, and giving back.

A Splash of Festive Colour for Two Important Causes

Christmas Jumper Day has become a national phenomenon, and it is one that our team embraces with great enthusiasm. The sight of colourful, novelty jumpers around the office created a brilliant, light-hearted atmosphere, providing a welcome boost during one of the busiest times of the year. From classic Nordic patterns to jumpers with flashing lights and 3D reindeers, the creativity on display was a joy to see.

While the fun and festive spirit are a big part of the day, the core purpose is to make a real difference. The funds raised by our team’s participation were split between two charities whose work we deeply admire.

Save the Children UK

As the driving force behind the national Christmas Jumper Day campaign, Save the Children UK has a simple but powerful mission: to ensure every child has the chance to build a better future. The charity works tirelessly in the UK and around the world to make sure children are safe, healthy, and have the opportunity to learn.

The money raised helps to provide essentials like food, clean water, and medicine to children in crisis. It also supports educational programmes that give children the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty. By taking part, our team has contributed to this global effort, helping to create a brighter future for children who need it most.

The Genie’s Wish

Closer to home, we also chose to support The Genie’s Wish, a charity dedicated to granting wishes for children and adults in the UK who are living with a critical or terminal illness. For these individuals and their families, a wish can provide a moment of pure joy and a precious escape from the daily challenges of their condition.

The work of The Genie’s Wish is about creating lasting, happy memories during the most difficult of times. Whether it is a family trip, meeting a hero, or a special experience, these wishes provide a beacon of hope and light. We have supported this wonderful charity through other fundraising events this year, and it was a pleasure to contribute to their mission once again through our Christmas Jumper Day efforts.
